Mobile device repairs are typically quick, we can usually get you in and out in 60 minutes with some models taking only 20-30 minutes. Certain devices such as tablets take a little longer, possibly up to 6-8 hours. Water treatment can be 24 hours.

  • Do you perform unlocks or jailbreaks?

We do perform jailbreaks and carrier unlocks when they are available. However, if you have somehow disabled your device by typing in the wrong passcode too many times, we can often get it up and running for you (after we confirm you are the rightful owner of course). However, we do not condone any illegal activity and if we feel that a device has been stolen we will not participate in any illegal activity.

  • Is there a warranty on the services you offer?

Yes, most parts include a 30 day warranty against defects. Does not cover breakage, trauma, falls, or other personal damage to the screen.  Parts not included in the 30 day warranty are buttons and batteries as these are “wearable parts” and their warranty is limited as well as any device that shows signs of water damage.  These devices have zero warranty because it is never predictable how a water damaged phone will respond to our part.   In a store warranty situation the client returns the defective device  within a few days or calls or emails and demonstrates or shows the part to have the defective feature and to can be returned to original  manufacturer for a replacement of the defective part at no charge to the repair company.

PLEASE NOTE: Accidental damage is not included under any of these warranties and will not be covered.  Any device with liquid damage, whether old or recent will not be covered under any warranty.

  • Will I lose my photos, music, contacts or any other data on my device because of the repair?

We know how important these things are to you and want you to know that your data is in safe hands. We rarely (almost never) have issues regarding data loss, however it is recommended that you back your device up if possible before you bring it in. If you need help backing it up, feel free to call us and we will help you out.

  • Do you have any affiliation with Apple, Samsung, or any other company?

Absolutely not. We have no affiliation with any other company; we merely perform out-of-warranty support and repairs on phones and tablets.

  • Do you use aftermarket or OEM parts?

All of our parts are high-quality aftermarket parts. We do not use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Manufacturers that specialize in aftermarket replacement parts often produce the highest quality parts. Often, sourcing quality OEM parts is extremely difficult and is in many cases, illegal.

Water Damage

  • Does the water damage treatment include water damage sensor replacement?

No, the water damage service includes the labor required to disassemble/reassemble the phone and to clean the logic board and connections with a circuit board cleaner.

  • Does the water damage service include logic board replacement?

No. If the logic board has been irreversibly damaged, we will not be able to repair your device.

  • I dropped my phone in liquid that was not water, should I bring it in for the water damage service?

Absolutely, we have repaired iPhones that have been dropped in all kinds of liquid, not just water. We have seen phones dropped in beer, sweet tea, toilets and everything in between. The water damage service applies to all type of liquid, not just water.

  • I dropped my phone in salt water, is it even worth bringing it in?

Absolutely. Through the salt in salt water is very corrosive and can be very damaging to electronic devices, there is no reason to not bring in your device  for a water damage repair. Our success rate on salt water damage is lower than that of a device that has been dropped in other liquid but there is still a possibility that is can be repaired.

  • What should I do if my device falls in water or another liquid?

First and foremost, do not attempt to turn the phone on as that can cause a serious short circuit. Next bring the device in for our water damaged service. Our chance at repairing the phone increases substantially the sooner we receive it.

  • My device fell into water, should I let it dry out to see if works before I bring it in?

Though the device can sometimes begin working again on its own after water damage, it is very uncommon and not a likely outcome. It is more likely that corrosion and residue deposits will begin to form on the logic board making the repair process more difficult. We recommend bringing the device in as soon as possible even if it is still wet as our chance at repairing the device increases substantially the sooner we receive it.

  • My device was water damaged and now everything seems to work fine except for one function, do I still need the full water damage service?

Yes. Though only one function may not be working, it could be caused by a variety of things. For example, if your home button is not functioning properly, the issue may be caused by the home button flex, the lower dock connector assembly, the Logic board, or any combination of the three since the phone was water damaged. If the device has not been water damaged, the home button flex almost always causes a home button issue, however since the phone has been water damaged, standard rules do not apply. This is why we offer a water damage service specially tailored for water-damaged devices.

  • How long does water damage repair generally take?

Water damage repair generally takes between 24 and 72 hours to complete depending on the level of damage. This estimate can vary however depending on the extent of the damage to the logic board and other components.  We will call as soon as we know something.
